A competition titled "Caspian Wave" to be held - ANNOUNCEMENT

"Caspian Wave" sea swimming competition will be held.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports is planning to hold a sea (open water) swimming competition on June 26 to promote, disseminate and develop water sports, SIA reports.

It should be noted that open water swimming competitions are organized in open bodies of water (rivers, lakes, seas and oceans) at different distances.

The new project of the Ministry, "Caspian Wave" will be held in Pirallahi settlement, Narakand park, among professionals and amateurs, in 5 age groups: 10-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49 and +50 years.

Exemplary performances in various water sports will also be exhibited during the competition.

Anyone who can swim can take part in the race. To do this, you need to register and pay a participation fee of 25 manat. Proceeds from the charity competition will also be used to organize a summer camp for children of martyrs in swimming and rowing at the Kura Olympic Training and Sports Center.

Places are limited and registration will be suspended when the number of participants reaches the required number.
