The Republic Championship amongst the Youth has started at the Baku Shooting Center.
According to SIA, competitions in air pistol and air rifle shooting are held for girls, boys and mixed team competitions. Representatives of sports clubs operating in different regions of the country take part in the competitions.
The competitions between girls and boys took place on June 12.
Today, young people compete with each other as a team.
"The World Cup in Baku demonstrated the level of our center, our ability to host prestigious competitions, as well as gave some views about our athletes," said the Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Shooting Federation Emin Jafarov.
"Our students need to train a lot and make their existing techniques a habit. To quell the excitement, it is important that they participate regularly in prestigious competitions. It is useful for all young people to share and communicate techniques with each other" Emin Jafarov stated.
