The winner of the Azerbaijani Formula 1 Grand Prix will be determined today.

According to the results of the qualifying round in Formula 1, Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc was the first. Red Bull Racing drivers Sergio Perez and Max Verstappen completed the top three. According to the results of this round, the lineup of pilots in the main race has been determined.
ART Grand Prix driver Frederik Vesti won the Formula 2 sprint. Prema Racing member Jehan Daruvala finished second and Liam Lawson (Carlin) finished third.
After seven stages in Formula 1, the list of drivers is headed by Dutch driver of the Red Bull Racing team Max Verstappen. He currently has 125 points. Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) is 9 points behind Verstappen. The top five is closed by Sergio Perez (Red Bull Racing) with 110 points, George Russell (Mercedes) with 84 points and Carlos Sains (Ferrari) with 83 points.
The leader of the Constructors' Cup is Red Bull Racing (235 points). Ferrari is second with 199 points and Mercedes is third with 134 points. In the next places McLaren (59), Alpha Romeo (41), Alpine Reno (40), AlphaTauri (17), Haas Ferrari (15), Aston Martin (7) and Williams (3) teams settled.
It should be noted that Azerbaijan is hosting Formula 1 races for the sixth time. The first race, called the European Grand Prix, was held in 2016. Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg was the first in this race. Daniel Riccardo (Red Bull Racing - 2017), Lucy Hamilton (Mercedes - 2018), Valtteri Bottas and Luis Hamilton (Mercedes - 2019), Sergio Perez (Red Bull Racing ”- 2021) will compete in the Azerbaijani Grand Prix next year.
The 2020 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix was not held due to the coronavirus pandemic.
