It had probably come to the attention of the observant football fans that, the final of the Champions League 2021/2022 season between Liverpool and Real Madrid, scheduled for 23:00 Baku time, started 35 minutes late.
According to the info obtained by SIA, the French police thought that Liverpool fans gathered around the stadium without tickets and used tear gas against them. Turns out they were right.
But what does the reality say. Here is the official information:
"... before the match, a large number of fans tried to enter the Stade de France with fake tickets, but could not pass the turnstile," the statement said. Due to this, there was a confrontation between the police and the fans. Police were forced to use tear gas. The game started 35 minutes later than planned.
