Azerbaijani swimmers won two more medals at the international tournament in Ostrava, Czech Republic.
On the second day of the competition, a member of our national team Ramil Velizade won a silver medal in the 200-meter butterfly with a time of 2 minutes 2.35 seconds, the press service of the Azerbaijan Swimming Federation told SIA. Maryam Sheykhalizadehangah, who qualified for the finals with the 50-meter butterfly technique in the tournament, was in the top three with a result of 27.91 seconds and won the second bronze medal.
At present, the Azerbaijani team has 3 medals.
It should be noted that the competition is a license for the world championships to be held in Hungary this year, as well as in Japan in 2023. Along with our country, athletes from Switzerland, Ukraine, Romania, Poland, Hungary, Croatia, the Czech Republic and Georgia are competing in the tournament.
