Today, two more Azerbaijani judokas will compete on the mat at the European Championship in Sofia, Bulgaria. According to SIA, Hidayat Heydarov and Rustam Orujov, who compete in the -73kg category, will try to win a medal on the second day of the competition. Both judokas will start the fight from the 1/16 final.
Heydarov will face Adam Stodolski from Poland and Orujov will compete with Irishman Joshua Green.
It should be mentioned that 6 Azerbaijani judokas competed on the first day of the European Championship. None of them won a medal. The competition will end on May 1.
