Today, Azerbaijani chess player Shahriyar Mammadyarov will play the next match in the first round of the online series "Champions Chess Tour" organized by Norwegian world champion Magnus Carlsen. According to SIA, the 37-year-old grandmaster will face Canadian Eric Hansen in the third round of the Oslo Esports Cup.
Mammadyarov defeated Le Quang Li of China in the first two rounds and lost to Rameshbabu Pragnanandha of India.
Anish Giri, Jorden van Foreest (both from the Netherlands) and Jan-Krzysztof Duda (Poland) are also participating in the Oslo Esports Cup.
