The qualifying tournament for the Azerbaijani Women's Chess Championship has ended. According to the press service of the organization, Khatun Bagirova took the second place with 5.5 points, and Lala Huseynova took the third place with 5 points. Laman Hajiyeva, who scored 6 points in 7 rounds, became the winner of the selection tournament and won the right to participate in the Azerbaijani championship for adults.
It should be mentioned that 20 chess players competed for the first place in the 7-round Swiss tournament.
