"After the European U-23 Championship, Mr. President Ilham Aliyev awarded the Wrestling Federation a cash prize." Spokesman for the Wrestling Federation Sarkhan Musali told SIA.
According to him, now, even after the European Championship among adults, 1 million manat has been allocated to our Federation: “Of course, the allocated funds will be spent in several directions. The funds will be used for cash prizes for athletes and head coaches of the national team, strengthening the material and technical base of wrestling and work to improve infrastructure. In general, one aid is intended for the development of wrestling. Also, a number of measures are being taken to increase interest in wrestling among children and in our regions.
