100 rhythmic gymnasts from 32 countries will take part in the World Cup

From April 22 to 24, the gymnastics community will once again focus on the Azerbaijani capital Baku. Thus, the strongest rhythmic gymnasts in the world will gather this time at the World Cup in our country. According to the press service of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation, 100 gymnasts from 40 countries, including 40 individual and 60 group teams (10 groups), are expected to participate in the fifth international gymnastics competition to be hosted by Azerbaijan this year.

During the three-day competition, gymnasts will compete in individual instruments and all-around.

According to tradition, the traditional "AGF Trophy" Cup will be presented to the gymnast and the team that scored the most points in the tournament. It should be noted that this will be the ninth Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in our country. It should be noted that our capital hosted the world championship in this sport in 2005 and 2019.

It should be mentioned that after a two-year break, spectators will have the opportunity to watch competitions in this sport as well at the National Gymnastics Arena due to mitigation measures within the special quarantine regime.

Individuals participating in the competitions as spectators must have a valid COVID-19 vaccination certificate or a document confirming immunity to COVID-19, a certificate of contraindications to the vaccine against COVID-19 ( except for individuals under 18 years of age).
