President of the Azerbaijan Boxing Federation (ABF) Sahil Babayev met with coaches working in Baku and Sumgayit. According to the federation's press service, the meeting discussed the current state of boxing, its further development and popularization, as well as ways to achieve high results using international experience.
Sahil Babayev said that every path to success depends on the system established by specialists and they lay the foundation, national teams of different age groups are formed from athletes who grew up as a result of the hard work of their teachers and coaches. The coaches exchanged views on the development of boxing, increasing the number of clubs, the experience of athletes, training reserve forces for the national team, gaining popularity in the regions, as well as holding seminars.
Sahil Babayev gave instructions and tasks to the meeting participants to form a Coaching Committee and increase our success with their help. The head of the ABF also instructed the Board to establish a system of rewards for coaches and boxers.
