On April 6, Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov received Minister of Tourism of the State of Israel Yoel Razvazov. During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of cooperation between the two countries in various fields, including youth and sports. Minister Farid Gayibov briefed the guest on the work done in Azerbaijani sports in recent years and the successes achieved, noting that cooperation in this field, especially joint trainings, could be beneficial for both sides.
It was noted that there is a need to expand existing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Israel, and further develop sports ties.
At the end, the two countries signed a "Joint Declaration" on cooperation in the field of sports. The document was signed by Azerbaijani Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov and Israeli Minister of Tourism Yoel Razvazov.
