First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva has congratulated the Azerbaijani athletes who won medals at Tokyo 2020 Summer Paralympic Games.
SİA informs that in a post on her Instagram page, the First Vice-President said:
"Azerbaijan has completed participation in the Tokyo-2020 Summer Olympic Games! The next gold medals were claimed by Orkhan Aslanov and Paralympic record-breaker Lamiya Valiyeva! I sincerely congratulate all the winners! I express my gratitude to our athletes! You have decently represented Azerbaijan! By showing high professionalism, determination, and goal commitment, you have justified the expectations of all of your fans! We have 14 gold, one silver, and four bronze medals! Thank you for this! I wish each of you sound health, joy, happiness, new victories, and achievements!"
