The Azerbaijani men`s team will contest medals at the European Team Chess Championship 2019 to be held in Batumi, Georgia, from October 23 to November 3.
Azerbaijan`s squad includes Shahriyar Mammadyarov, Teymur Rajabov, Arkadij Naiditsch, Rauf Mammadov and Gadir Huseynov.
The European Team Chess Championship 2019 will be played in 9 rounds, Swiss system, with the time control of 90 minutes for 40 moves + 30 minutes for the rest of the game, with 30 seconds increment for every move played, starting from the move one.
