The Azerbaijan Judo Federation has presented its strategy for 2024-2028.
This announcement was made by Rashad Rasulov, the Executive Vice President of the federation, during an event dedicated to National Press Day, SIA reports citing AZERTAC.
Rasulov stated that the primary goal is to transform Azerbaijan into one of the leading countries in the world for judo. He outlined three strategic directions and supporting factors in the four-year development plan.
The strategic directions focus on increasing participation, enhancing talent development pathways, and improving achievements in elite sports.
Supporting factors include the development of coaches, training sports specialists, organizing major events, infrastructure development, involvement of the private sector and funding, the capabilities of clubs and federations, regulation, management, support, diversity and inclusivity, digitalization, communication, and participation.
