Azerbaijani wrestler Ziya Babaşov has advanced to the final of the U-23 European Championship held in Baku, winning against Israeli wrestler Abere Fetene in the semifinal match with a score of 5:3.
Babaşov, who competed in the 63 kg weight category, will face off against the winner of the other semifinal match in the final. Meanwhile, Azerbaijani wrestler Rashad Mammadov, who competed in the 55 kg weight category, lost to Georgian wrestler Giorgi Toxadze and will compete for the bronze medal on the next day.
The European Championship will conclude on May 24.
