Azerbaijani pair wins bronze medal at President's Cup 2024 in academic rowing, kayaking, and canoeing
In commemoration of the 101st anniversary of the birth of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, Azerbaijani representatives have won another medal in the international regatta "President's Cup 2024" in academic rowing, kayaking, and canoeing.
Qiyas Ahmadov and Vagif Babayev duo claimed the bronze medal, SIA reports.
They finished third in the kayak race over a distance of 500 meters in the competition of athletes born in 2006-2007.
This is the 4th award for Azerbaijani representatives. National team members have previously won gold, silver, and bronze medals.
