The Bahrain Grand Prix for Formula 1 has kicked off the new season with its first practice session.
Australian driver Daniel Ricciardo of the "Red Bull" team showcased an impressive performance, outpacing all competitors and securing the top spot at the finish line, SIA reports.
The podium's first three positions were claimed by Lando Norris and Oskar Piastri from the "McLaren" team. Meanwhile, the reigning three-time world champion, Red Bull's driver Max Verstappen, settled for the sixth position.
The final showdown for the Bahrain Grand Prix in Formula 1 is set to take place on March 2nd.
