SIA reports that competing in the 90-kilogram weight category, Murad Fatiyev triumphed over Hungarian Krisztian Toth, earning the top spot on the podium.
Vugar Talibov, also in the 90-kilogram weight class, secured a bronze medal by defeating French judoka Alexis Matheo.
Today, another member of the national team, Jamal Gamzatkhankov (100 kilograms), will strive to win a gold medal.
Earlier in the tournament, Hidayat Heydarov (73 kilograms) and Zelim Tckayev (81 kilograms) claimed gold, Omar Recebli (81 kilograms) won silver, while Balabey Agayev (60 kilograms) and Yashar Najafov (66 kilograms) secured bronze medals.
