Dutch goalkeeper Mark Flekken of Brentford became the first goalkeeper to provide an assist in the Premier League this season.
The 30-year-old player set up teammate Neil Maupay in the 21st minute of the match against Manchester City in the XXIII round of the national championship.
The match ended with a 3:1 victory for the "citizens."
