A club from Saudi Arabia has offered Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric a bumper two-year deal which would see him pocket a handsome salary of €50m net salary ahead of the summer transfer window, SIA refers to foreign media.
Despite the offer, though, Modric remains adamant about his desire to continue at Real Madrid. And recent reports suggest that the club too are eager on keeping the 37-year-old legend around, with a one-year renewal offer set to be offered imminently.
Modric has been in "Real Madrid" since 2012, the midfielder has won the Champions League and Club World Cup 5 times, the Spanish Super Cup and the UEFA Super Cup 4 times, the Spanish Championship 3 times and the Spanish Cup once.
The midfielder won the Golden Ball in 2018. As part of the Croatian national team, he won silver (2018) and bronze (2022) at the World Championship.
