It was reported that the first stage of the project's implementation consists of a detailed analysis of the level of consideration of the gender principle in the documents regulating the regulations and activities of the Council of Europe and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), including the World Anti-Doping Code and International Standards. The list of those documents is already ready and work is being done accordingly.

Speaking about the activities of the committee, Shafaq Huseynli said that increasing the participation of women in the management and decision-making bodies of anti-doping organizations, reflecting the gender issue in the international and local legislation regulating the anti-doping field, and taking into account sensitive issues arising from gender characteristics in the doping control process are the main priorities. Speaking on this topic, the representative of the International Olympic Committee told his organization that he is very sensitive to the issue of gender equality, that they support the activities of GECA in this regard and are ready to share their experiences in this regard. At the meeting, representatives of other organizations and countries also expressed their proposals regarding the implementation of the first phase of the project.
