The air temperature in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula is currently 7.5°C below the climatic norm.
According to SİA, Irada Ibrahimova, spokesperson for the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, stated that snowfall continues, accompanied by strong northwesterly winds and blizzard conditions.
In the capital, temperatures have dropped to -3°C, significantly lower than the February average of 4.5°C. Meanwhile, in the mountainous regions, snow accumulation has reached up to 1 meter.
