Azerbaijani Defense Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov viewed the booths of the National Defense University (NDU) and other educational institutions of Azerbaijan at the 5th Anniversary Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition ADEX held at the Baku Expo Center, SİA informs, citing the Ministry of Defense.
The Defense Minister was informed that the team from the Heydar Aliyev Military Institute of the NDU successfully passed the selection rounds of the TEKNOFEST 2024 technology competition held in Türkiye and advanced to the final stage. The team participated in the competition with the Toratan drone ZN-44 project.
At the NDU stand, the Rescuer unmanned aerial vehicle developed by cadets of the Heydar Aliyev Military Institute, which won 3rd place in the B category of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles competition at the Technofest Azerbaijan Aerospace and Technology Festival held in Baku in 2022, was also displayed.
