Yerevan and Baku have recorded progress in normalizing relations in 2024 and will continue the delimitation of the state border, Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said today at a year-end press conference, SİA informs via Armenian media.
"Last year, significant progress was recorded in the process of normalizing relations with Azerbaijan. We managed to sign the first international legal document on joint activities of delimitation commissions," said Mirzoyan.
According to him, there is an agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan to continue work on delimitation. "There is an agreement for the delimitation commissions headed by deputy prime ministers of both countries to meet in January. There is an understanding of how and where to continue the delimitation process," Mirzoyan noted.
He also reported that Yerevan is awaiting Baku's response to the latest proposals on the peace agreement draft. "There is agreement on 15 out of 17 points of the agreement," said Mirzoyan.
