In 2023, Azerbaijan repatriated 60 citizens from Syria, including 13 women and 47 children, the Office of the Human Rights (Ombudsman) Commissioner of Azerbaijan said, SİA informs.
The office noted that as a result of measures taken by the Azerbaijani government, a total of 469 children and women have been repatriated from Iraq and Syria.
