Azerbaijan`s FM meets with his Hungarian counterpart

Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Péter Szijjártó on the sidelines of 30th OSCE Ministerial Council.

The parties discussed various aspects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Hungary, as well as current regional and international security issues.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov hailed the level of bilateral and multilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Hungary, and stressed the importance of reciprocal contacts and visits for discussing the expansion of and prospects for the cooperation agenda.

Bayramov highlighted Hungary's support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan, especially within international organizations.

The Azerbaijan’s FM noted the importance of development of cooperation between the two countries in various fields, especially in economy, trade, energy security, investments, connections, and pointed out the significance of successfully implementing joint projects.

The Hungarian Minister received detail information about the current situation in the region during the post-conflict period, as well as the efforts normalize and take peace agenda forward between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
