The search and rescue operation is continuing by the forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in connection with the explosion that occurred in a five-story residential building in the 13th microdistrict of Sumgayit city, SİA reports.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, three people have been pulled out from under the rubble and handed over to the relevant authorities.

Today at around 06:40, an explosion occurred in an apartment in the 13th microdistrict of Sumgait city.
According to preliminary information, 3 people, 2 men and 1 woman, were injured as a result of the incident and were hospitalized at the Emergency Medical Care Hospital of the Sumgait Medical Center.
People born in 1977, 2007 and 2010 were admitted to the Intensive Care Unit with severe burn injuries.
Currently, 1 person is in serious condition, while the others are in moderate condition.
Noted that emergency medical teams are at the scene.
