Azerbaijan prevents smuggling of 11 kg of drugs from Iran into country

On June 18th, at 15:30, as a result of the border search and operational measures conducted by the Border Troops of the State Border Service in the service territory of the "Goytepe" border detachment, the smuggling of narcotic marijuana, weighing 11 kilograms and 350 grams, from the Islamic Republic of Iran into the Republic of Azerbaijan has been prevented, SİA reports citing the State Border Service (SBS) of Azerbaijan.

Operational-investigative measures are being continued.
