"Any role that can be played by Azerbaijan in energy supply to Europe will be welcomed by our European allies," said Assistant Secretary of US Energy Department Brad Crabtree in a response to question from APA's correspondent in an online briefing.
"Our European allies are looking for many countries to avoid Russian oil and gas, diversify energy sources, supply energy from reliable countries. That is why I think any opportunity by Azerbaijan in energy supply to Europe will be appreciated by our European allies. Certainly, the US supports expansion and diversification of Europe's whole energy supply away from Russia," noted Crabtree.
