European gas loses 11% as EU reveals new measures

European gas futures lost over 11% on Tuesday as the European Commission proposed further measures to limit gas prices and increase stockpiles. Commission President Ursula von der Leyen also said gas storage in the bloc reached 92% capacity as the EU prepares for winter, SİA reports citing Breakingnews.

UK natural gas futures for delivery in November plunged 11.74% to sell for 207.100 pence per therm at 4:19 pm CET.
