“Great Britain is the country that has invested the most in Azerbaijan and is a strategic partner,” said President Ilham Aliyev when he accepted the credentials of Fergus Auld, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary, and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to our country, SİA reports.
“This also includes traditional fields, however, I am sure that investment will also be involved in renewable energy types. You know that we are very close to take a step in this important direction. You start your activity in Azerbaijan in a completely different environment. Because after the end of the Karabakh conflict, the situation in the region completely changed. We consider that it is an opportunity to benefit from positive dynamics and the establishment of lasting peace.”
