From September 28 to October 6, about 30 small and medium-sized entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan were on a business trip to Uzbekistan. Entrepreneurs operating in the fields of construction, tourism, logistics, food, textile, ICT, advertising, accounting, production and service took part in the visit, which took place with the support of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SBA) and the organization of "Marsol" LLC.
The purpose of the visit was to introduce Azerbaijani companies to a wider audience, expand access to markets, develop business partnerships with Uzbek companies, and establish new cooperative relations.
As part of a business trip, the Azerbaijani entrepreneurs laid a wreath in front of the monument of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev in the square named after him in Tashkent. Businessmen held a number of meetings in Tashkent at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, the Entrepreneurship Development Agency, the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Uzbekistan and the representative office of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of Azerbaijan in Uzbekistan, and participated in the exhibitions "Aquatherm Tashkent", "UzETechExpo 2022" and "OzuPACK - OZBEKinPRINT 2022". The entrepreneurs visited various production enterprises in the city of Samarkand. Within the framework of the visit of Azerbaijani businessmen to Uzbekistan, a forum on cooperation was held in Bukhara with the participation of entrepreneurs from both countries, and a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation was signed between tourism companies of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
