In order to eliminate the passenger congestion in the direction of Sumgait-Khirdalan-Baku, from October 10, 2022, the 08:00 train running on the Baku-Ganja-Baku route will be appointed for one flight at 07:25 in the direction of Sumgait-Khirdalan-Baku.
Consequently, the timetable of the Baku-Ganja high-speed passenger train is being changed, and from that date the train will depart from Baku at 08:45 instead of 08:00, the press service of ADY told SIA. The arrival time of the train from Ganja to Baku will remain according to the current schedule.
Currently, trains on the Absheron circular railway line run at the shortest intervals according to the number of existing train fleets. At the moment, a partial change in the schedule of trains is being made to eliminate passenger congestion, and passengers will be further informed about it.
On the morning of October 6, 2022, a technical malfunction occurred in the ventilation system in one of the carriages of the electric train moving in the direction of Sumgayit-Khirdalan-Baku and there were certain interruptions in its operation. Specialists eliminated the technical malfunction in a short period of time.
