Fitch announces outlook on EU countries' demand for Azerbaijani gas

Fitch Ratings international agency has announced its outlook on gas demand of the European Union countries (EU) for gas, SİA reports.

Natural gas demand in EU countries in 2022 is forecasted in the amount of 357 billion cubic meters (10% less as compared to 2021), while on 2023 339 billion cubic meters (5% less as compared to this year). According to Fitch Ratings outlook, EU countries' demand for Azerbaijani gas will be 12 billion c/m this year and in 2023. In other words, Azerbaijani gas has ranked fourth place for export volume after LNG, Norway, and African countries.
