BP Vice-President: "The decrease in production in ACG is due to the aging of field"

"We are planning to start drilling a data well to obtain additional information about the gas located in the deep layers of the "Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli" oil and gas field block (ACG) in the fourth quarter of this year," Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli, BP's vice-president of communications and advocacy for the Middle East and Caspian countries told journalists, SİA reports.

According to him, the drilling of the well will provide an opportunity to obtain additional information about the gas located in deep layers and to make a decision on the direction of work in this area.

Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli also added that currently, there is a decrease in production in ACG, which is due to the aging of the field.
