Azerbaijan's state budget surplus nears $1.2B

Azerbaijan's state budget revenues in January-May 2022 exceeded 12.442 billion manats ($7.3 billion), while expenditures amounted to just over 10.450 billion manats ($6.15 billion), SİA informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

According to the committee, the state budget revenues increased by 27.8% and expenses - by 11.6% compared to the same period of last year.

As a result, a budget surplus of 1.992 billion manats ($1.17 billion) was formed.
