Today, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) under the Ministry of Economy held the SME Fest(KOB Fest) exhibition and sale fair in Sumgayit. The statement came from KOBIA, SIA reports.
It is reported that the SME Fest, organized in Nasimi Park, presents more than 1,000 items of food and non-food products of about 70 micro and small businesses from Sumgayit and surrounding areas, as well as handicrafts of artists and creators. Along with local production, the fair showcases the services of SMEs providing services in education, information technology, finance and other fields. Cultural-entertainment program was also organized as a part of the SME Fest.
Speaking at the fair, Chairman of the Board of KOBIA Orkhan Mammadov, Head of Sumgayit City Executive Power Zakir Farajov, MP Mushvig Mammadli and other officials spoke about the promotion and sale of products produced by SMEs from Sumgayit and surrounding areas, as well as expanding ties between producers and suppliers.
It should be noted that the SME Fest exhibition and sales fair organized by KOBIA in Sumgayit is the fifth and will last until 20.00.
Previously, SME Fest was organized in Baku, Shamkir, Ganja and Lankaran. More than 300 micro and small businesses presented their products and services at these fairs. The next SME Fest is planned to be held on June 18 in Guba and in July in Sheki.
