At the 28th meeting of the Ministers of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Azerbaijan also expressed its support for the decision to increase daily oil production by 432,000 barrels in June. According to the info given by the Ministry of Energy to SIA, in accordance with the quotas set for June, it is planned to increase daily crude oil production in Azerbaijan by 7,000 barrels to 695,000 barrels, and the reduction commitment will be 23,000 barrels.
It should be noted that according to the decision made at the 19th meeting of OPEC plus ministers in July last year, the increase in daily crude oil production with partial adjustments to the base level will be applied from May 2022.
