A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) and the Russian Federal Corporation for Small and Medium Enterprise Development (SME Corporation) within the meeting of the Intergovernmental State Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation in Baku on April 26. The document was signed by the Chairman of the Board of KOBIA Orkhan Mammadov and the Director General of the SME Corporation Alexander Isaevich.
The Protocol of Intent envisages expanding the access of SMEs to the markets of both countries, exchange of experience, organization of joint business events, promotion of participation of businessmen in events in both countries, establishment of a permanent platform for cooperation between entrepreneurs and such issues are considered.
