The value of goods and services sold to meet consumer needs in January-March this year amounted to 13.4 billion manat, an increase of 4.4 percent compared to January-March 2021. The State Statistics Committee told SIA that the value of goods and services sold by non-governmental sector entities increased by 4.5 percent compared to the same period in 2021 and amounted to 12.9 billion manat, of which 46.1 percent were formed due to activities of individual entrepreneurs. During the reporting period, a consumer spent an average of 444.7 manat per month, or 62 manat more in nominal terms compared to the same period in 2021.
