The Czech Republic will completely abandon Russian oil and gas

... but in five years

The Czech Republic must reduce its dependence on Russia's energy resources within five years.

The statement came from Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala, SIA reports.

According to him, the country's energy sector must change completely.

"Our dependence on fossil fuels from Russia, which has been neglected for years, is one of the biggest risks for our country. "Our goal should be to completely break out of Russia's energy loop over the next five years."
