Excise rates on vodka, liqueur, and cognac are increased, it has been reflected in the amendment suggested to the Tax Code, discussed at the meeting of Parliamentary Committee for Economic Policy, Industry, and Entrepreneurship today, SİA reports.
According to the draft, excise rates applied on a liter of drinkable alcohol (as well as non-denatured ethyl alcohol containing not less than 80 percent alcohol; non-denatured ethyl alcohol containing less than 80 percent alcohol), vodka, darkened beverages and darkened beverage materials, liqueur and liqueur products, cognac and cognac products have been increased from AZN 3.2 to 4.
