Azerbaijan revokes license of "Nakhchivanbank", bank becomes NBFI

According to the Decision of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan dated July 24, 2024, based on the application of "Nakhchivanbank" OJSC, the bank license granted to "Nakhchivanbank" OJSC to carry out banking activities in accordance with the Law "On Banks", as well as "Regulations on Reorganization of Banks" (Regulations) was canceled from that date, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan released information, APA reports.
