"We are working on ecosystems that will create innovations," Shahmar Movsumov, the Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan said as he delivered speech during the InMerge Innovation Summit held in Baku, APA reports.
He said that the main purpose is ensuring the transition to a branched out economy. Azerbaijan creates opportunities for the expansion of innovations in this regard.
“In the last year, the number of startups in Azerbaijan has increased by 3 times. And this is aimed at the development of entrepreneurship,” – Shahmar Movsumov added.
