Prime minister: Azerbaijan's foreign exchange reserves ten times higher than country's external debt
Over the past 20 years, Azerbaijan's foreign exchange reserves have increased more than 47 times and exceeded $66 billion. Currently, they are 10 times the country's direct external debt, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov said at the conference "20 years of unprecedented service to the Motherland, people and statehood" taking place in Baku.
SİA informs that, according to him, the total volume of investments during this period amounted to more than $300 billion, of which $190 billion were invested in the non-oil sector.
