Russia sees substantial potential in the implementation of the Zangazur corridor project for moving towards the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Russian Foreign Ministry's Spokesperson Maria Zakharova told a briefing, according to SİA.
"We are considering a project for restoring the transport route that connects Azerbaijan with the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic through Armenia. We see substantial potential in the implementation of this project for progress towards normalizing relations between Yerevan and Baku. And, of course, everything depends on the political will of the countries and the readiness to reach specific agreement," she said.
