Azerbaijan presents Investment projects in 1st Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan Interregional Forum in Tashkent
Azerbaijani representatives presented their investment projects within the framework of the 1st Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan Interregional Forum held in Tashkent organized by the Export and Investment Promotion Agency - AZPROMO, SIA reports.
According to the head of the agency, Yusif Abdullayev, informed about the favorable investment environment created in Azerbaijan and pointed out the great potential in increasing mutual investments. He noted that holding the event in such a format creates an additional opportunity for business circles to expand investment cooperation. Yusif Abdullayev presented 10 investment projects covering the fields - industry, agriculture, real estate, alternative energy, and invited Uzbekistan investors for active cooperation.
At the event, the director of Uzbekistan's Foreign Investment Attraction Agency, Ulugbek Kasimkhojayev, spoke about the investment potential of his country and presented 10 prospective investment projects. Fuad Allahverdiyev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of "AzerTelecom" LLC, made a presentation on "Digital Silk Road: a new digital corridor between Europe and Asia".
During 1991-2022, 37.4 million US dollars have been invested from Azerbaijan to Uzbekistan, and 18.7 million US dollars were invested from Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan.
