AZAL aims to increase total number of flight destinations to 85

AZAL is expanding its route network and aims to increase the total number of flight destinations to 85.

This was stated by Samir Rzayev, the first vice president of "Azerbaijan Airlines" (AZAL) Closed Joint Stock Company, SIA refers to local media.

The vice president noted that from the beginning of 2022 until today, the national air carrier of Azerbaijan has started to carry out flights to Aktau, Tashkent, Samarkand, Urganj, Fergana, Amman, Prague, Sian and other cities.

According to him, the frequency of flights performed by AZAL in the directions of Russia and Turkiye has been increased.

"If we were flying to 36 destinations in 2022, we aim to increase this number to 62 by 2023," said the first vice-president of AZAL.
