Turkish Ministry of Energy won’t restrict transactions at gas hub in Istanbul

Turkiye isn’t going to impose any restrictions or control over transactions at the gas hub it is creating in Istanbul, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Donmez said on TVnet, SİA informs.

“Thanks to this platform (hub), we are creating market mechanisms for the sale of natural gas. We are not going to interfere in the relationship between the seller and the buyer, to impose any restrictions,” the minister said, commenting on how the gas hub will work in conditions of anti-Russian energy sanctions.
